Environmental Policy
Manor Concepts Ltd is a company based in Sandy, Bedfordshire, which specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and service of refrigerated and ambient display equipment for retail end users. We operate from 2 buildings on the Middlefield Industrial Estate. We design and manufacture in house at these 2 buildings using state of the art equipment.
In achieving excellence in the design, manufacture, installation and service of chilled and ambient display equipment, Manor Concepts Ltd, will aim to manage its activities and premises to minimise its environmental impacts and encourage environmental sustainability, to conserve and enhance natural resources to prevent pollution and to bring about a continual improvement in its environmental performance.
Manor Concepts Ltd, will comply fully with environmental legislation, approved codes of practice and relevant customer and other requirements, and will make continued efforts to:

Promote sound environmental management policies and practices in the work areas of its activities: |

Increase awareness of environmental responsibilities amongst staff and supply chain; |

Work with other agencies locally and nationally, to promote environmental policies; |

Minimise waste and emissions, and operate effective waste management: |

Reduce consumption of energy, water and other resources; |

Promote a sustainable purchasing policy which gives preferential advantage to suppliers, as far as practicable, of those products and services which cause the least harm to the environment; |

Avoid use, wherever possible, of environmentally damaging substances, materials, and processes: |

Maintain the grounds and buildings of Manor Concepts Ltd, in an environmentally sensitive way; |

Have regard to environmental and town planning factors as far as practicable in respect of the growth of Manor Concepts Ltd |

Encourage modes of transport, by employees, which lessen their environmental impact; |
| • |
Embrace and implement ISO 14001 across all of the company’s activities. |
